Walking, Yoga & Meditation Dolomites, Italy – Relax, rejuvenate and re-discover yourself within the beauty of the Dolomites. Discover the benefits of morning meditation, followed by a relaxing walk after breakfast to clear the mind and stretch the imagination. Unwind and relax in the beautiful grounds of the villa overlooking the Dolomites before an evening yoga session (outdoors weather permitting) followed by a healthy Italian meal.

The magnificent Dolomite mountains are a section of the Alps in northeastern Italy, running roughly from Pieve di Cadore in the east to the Adige River in the west. Marmolada is the highest peak, at over 3000metres high. The Dolomites, with its dramatic and craggy mountain landscape are famed for their unique colors, which are the result of their partial formations as undersea coral colonies before being pushed upward millions of years ago.

Relax and meditate on this 6 night break, join us for some morning meditation to clear the mind before breakfast, followed by a peaceful walk through Alpine meadows. Following a light Italian lunch, relax within the grounds of the Villa or take a walk before an evening yoga session.

The health benefits of yoga and meditation are extensive. Not only does yoga affect the physical aspect of the body, it also addresses the mind and spirit. Daily yoga exercises are a great way to relieve stress and can bring a sense of well being to your life. Yoga can also help ease aches and pains in the body, as well as improving flexibility and breathing techniques. Meditation also has massive health benefits, and allows us time to spend by ourselves, without being at the constant beck and call of others. Spending even 15 minutes meditating can massively reduce stress levels, and help rejuvenate the mind and body. Add this to relaxing walks through the stunning scenery the Dolomites provide really will allow you to completely relax.

This walk is graded GENTLE/INTERMEDIATE

All our walks are Graded so it makes it easier for you to understand the intensity and level of walking we’ll be doing. Below is a description of each:

Gentle:

For beginners or those that enjoy lower level and shorter walks, an average of 3-4 hours walking per day with plenty of breaks.

Intermediate:

These walks are suitable for anyone who has done some walking in the past, or does some form of weekly exercise. Some steeper gradients may be involved but there will be plenty of opportunities to stop for a break. Average of 4 – 6 hours walking per day.

High Intermediate:

Longer walks/treks with some steep gradients and possibly some scrambling, sometimes at higher altitudes (trekking in Europe or Africa). An average of 6 – 8 hour walking, no technical skill required but a good level of fitness is required.
